Westcountry Classic Vehicle Club (WCVC)

Westcountry Classic Vehicle Club History

WCVC displaying cars at Torre Abbey

The Westcountry Classic Vehicle Car (WCVC) was formed on the 14 February 2005, by a small friendly group who just wanted the fun of enjoying their cars. Our first event was at the Palace Hotel, Paignton where we displayed 5 vehicles.

Over the years our membership to the WCVC has steadily increased with the aim of not being the biggest club but the friendliest. New members are most welcome and cars should be older than 25 years but can be more recent if of sufficient interest, unusualness or rarity, subject to the club committee's acceptance. We also welcome motorcycles, trikes and commercial vehicles.

Under the WCVC we arrange 5 events annually being The Den, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot Town Centre, Torre Abbey and World of Country Life, Exmouth.

Affiliated events where we have our own WCVC stand include Torbay Steam Fair, TOWC Paignton Green, Powderham Castle and Killerton House, Exeter.

Our events are intended to appeal to all ages of the whole family. Other activities include a skittles night, car rallies, club night auctions and visiting speakers.

So why not come along to an event and, if you like what you see, why not join us? On the main menu above you can download an application form for membership.
